The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Azdavay getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Şinasi Altuncuoğlu hit a great ball. 4 minutes into the match, Azdavay's goal looked a bit too open when Dündar Eraslan came free, but Olcay Orkun Zekai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 6th minute of the match, Berker Makul got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ali Emir Tuygun was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Keramettin Ferikoğlu hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Berker Makul was extremely unlucky when he, in the 11th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 12th minute, Umur Okuyan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Orçun Budun came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the ＤＥＴＲＯＩＴ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Orçun Budun couldn't finish the play. Ali Emir Tuygun acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 19th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Adem Kamil. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dündar Eraslan in the 21st minute of play forced Azdavay's goalkeeper Olcay Orkun Zekai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute, Şinasi Altuncuoğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 23 minutes of play, ＤＥＴＲＯＩＴ's Dündar Eraslan made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Olcay Orkun Zekai was left in no man's land by his defense there! İlhan Yorgun hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. ＤＥＴＲＯＩＴ's Ali Emir Tuygun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Umur Okuyan in the 41st minute of play. In the 43rd minute Dündar Eraslan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olcay Orkun Zekai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ali Emir Tuygun made an important save on a dangerous shot by Şinasi Altuncuoğlu in the 47th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Umur Okuyan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Berker Makul fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Emir Tuygun having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Umur Okuyan in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ali Emir Tuygun saved ＤＥＴＲＯＩＴ from getting behind. In the 59th match minute, ＤＥＴＲＯＩＴ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Atahan Tengizalp to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd minute Dündar Eraslan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olcay Orkun Zekai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 66th minute, Şinasi Altuncuoğlu made a precise shot to the right of Ali Emir Tuygun. ＤＥＴＲＯＩＴ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 71st minute Dündar Eraslan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olcay Orkun Zekai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olcay Orkun Zekai didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ＤＥＴＲＯＩＴ. After a rather tough play, Azdavay's Şinasi Altuncuoğlu got a free kick in the 94th minute. 95 minutes into the game, Berker Makul was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Azdavay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ＤＥＴＲＯＩＴ the free kick. In the 95th minute, Berker Makul hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
