Necmettin Asker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tolgahan Gençyaz in the 29th minute of play. 32 minutes into the game, Fredrik Selvik was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sinanpasa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atakum Tigers FK the free kick. If Tolgahan Gençyaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ali Numan Teksen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Necmettin Asker made a huge save. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mustafa Emre Adıgün to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th match minute, Sinanpasa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ünal Suer to maneuver through the defense. Mustafa Emre Adıgün blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Necmettin Asker having to make a save. When Aytuğ Akmanoğlu fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atakum Tigers FK's protests and gave Aytuğ Akmanoğlu a yellow card for diving instead. After 57 played minutes Atakum Tigers FK got a freekick which was hit by Aytuğ Akmanoğlu. Atakum Tigers FK's Aytuğ Akmanoğlu quite brazenly broke a throw-in by George Hagi, made in the 60th minute of the game. In the 66th minute, Tolgahan Gençyaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 71st minute Ali Numan Teksen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Necmettin Asker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. George Hagi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sinanpasa's Rahmad Gustav pulled a muscle in his back after 79 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Gürel Tuğsavan charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gürel Tuğsavan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Sinanpasa booed when Atakum Tigers FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gürel Tuğsavan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 81st minute, Fredrik Selvik got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ali Numan Teksen took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Necmettin Asker. Necmettin Asker dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. George Hagi hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. In the 90th match minute, Sinanpasa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Naci Özbir to maneuver through the defense. In the 94th minute Mustafa Emre Adıgün shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Necmettin Asker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fredrik Selvik kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Sinanpasa's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
