Mahir Özay didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sinanpasa. Necmettin Asker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cenap Batüralp in the 17th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, Ahmet Sedat İpekçi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Necmettin Asker was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. With a little luck, Sinanpasa's Necmettin Asker got control of the ball when Ahmet Sedat İpekçi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Naci Özbir hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Sinanpasa's Necmettin Asker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ayvaz İlkim in the 28th minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Sinanpasa's George Hagi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mahir Özay narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ahmet Sedat İpekçi to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Erzinspor booed when Sinanpasa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tayyip Ruhsat didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 55th minute of the game Baybars Haşmetli made a throw-in which Ahmet Sedat İpekçi played forward. A collision led to Sinanpasa getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. In the 66th minute, Baybars Haşmetli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cenap Batüralp hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Sedat İpekçi in the 72nd minute of play forced Sinanpasa's goalkeeper Necmettin Asker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute Ahmet Sedat İpekçi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Necmettin Asker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Necmettin Asker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Sedat İpekçi in the 83rd minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Levent Kalender notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Sinanpasa's Necmettin Asker. Necmettin Asker was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ayvaz İlkim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sinanpasa's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
