Yıldıray Kayaalp scored 0-1 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Özdemir Sökmen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The long shot by İlbey Ötüken in the 6th minute really tested Selahaddin Yumlu's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Özdemir Sökmen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yıldıray Kayaalp in the 7th minute of play. Genç Atsızlar's Özdemir Sökmen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Songurhan Yordam in the 9th minute of play. Özdemir Sökmen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Yıldıray Kayaalp went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Özdemir Sökmen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdulaziz Uruk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Işık İnceman charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Işık İnceman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Genç Atsızlar getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Işık İnceman hit a great ball. Abdulaziz Uruk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bozkurt Ünsev kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Genç Atsızlar's Alparslan Kuyas got a free kick in the 29th minute. Özdemir Sökmen came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Serik's Yıldıray Kayaalp. But to his dismay, Yıldıray Kayaalp quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Vahit Pozan struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Özdemir Sökmen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Serik. In the 42nd minute Songurhan Yordam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Özdemir Sökmen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Genç Atsızlar's goalkeeper Özdemir Sökmen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 46 minutes into the match, Abdulaziz Uruk notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Genç Atsızlar's Özdemir Sökmen. Özdemir Sökmen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When Gani İstikbal came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Genç Atsızlar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gani İstikbal couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdulaziz Uruk in the 69th minute of play forced Genç Atsızlar's goalkeeper Özdemir Sökmen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Selahaddin Yumlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gani İstikbal in the 72nd minute of play. İlbey Ötüken kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Bozkurt Ünsev took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 75th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Özdemir Sökmen. Genç Atsızlar's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 76 minutes into the match, Genç Atsızlar's goal looked a bit too open when Abdulaziz Uruk came free, but Özdemir Sökmen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yıldıray Kayaalp could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Özdemir Sökmen made a huge save. Gani İstikbal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Selahaddin Yumlu having to make a save. After 83 minutes, Vahit Pozan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Serik and the Genç Atsızlar players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Serik's Vahit Pozan got a free kick in the 84th minute. Selahaddin Yumlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gani İstikbal, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Selahaddin Yumlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gani İstikbal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Genç Atsızlar's Mirza Yavuzalp got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vahit Pozan got his second yellow card in the match during the 93rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 93rd match minute, Serik was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vahit Pozan to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Serik had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
