Aykan Erkılınç had in the 5thth minute some difficulties stopping Volkan İrfan's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 7th minute, Mehmet Akif Selahaddin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Mehmet Akif Selahaddin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd minute Osman Ali Uzma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aykan Erkılınç saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abdullah Siddik hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Aykan Erkılınç showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Songurbey Özgebay in the 31st minute of the match. Battal Gazi Hatip fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdurrahman Tokuzer having to interfere. Aykan Erkılınç took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hüsnü Yalgın, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The crowd rose to their feet as TatliseySpor's Osman Ali Uzma slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Aykan Erkılınç. That made the score 0-1 after 56 minutes of play. In the 59th match minute, TatliseySpor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Halit Tansu to maneuver through the defense. If Battal Gazi Hatip had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 63 played minutes Atasehir got a freekick which was hit by Abdullah Siddik. Battal Gazi Hatip recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cem Ezrak hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. When Hüsnü Yalgın came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the TatliseySpor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hüsnü Yalgın couldn't finish the play. Fahrettin Kazanhan hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Hüsnü Yalgın could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Aykan Erkılınç made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hüsnü Yalgın got free with Aykan Erkılınç in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 79 played minutes Atasehir got a freekick which was hit by Abdullah Siddik. 80 minutes into the match, Atasehir's goalkeeper Aykan Erkılınç had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hüsnü Yalgın. Aykan Erkılınç made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hüsnü Yalgın in the 87th minute. With a little luck, Atasehir's Aykan Erkılınç got control of the ball when Osman Ali Uzma tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 93rd minute, TatliseySpor's Halit Tansu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Aykan Erkılınç. Aykan Erkılınç yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. The Atasehir supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching TatliseySpor's performance. The match ended with a win for TatliseySpor.
