The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Gölköy Fc. 68 Aksarayspor's Çağan Başoğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franciszek Imbor in the 12th minute of play. Ahmet Hafiz Akçan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Çağan Başoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 14 minutes into the game, Yahya Kemal Safvet was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. 68 Aksarayspor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gölköy Fc the free kick. A collision led to 68 Aksarayspor getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Yahya Kemal Safvet hit a great ball. The supporters of 68 Aksarayspor booed when Gölköy Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Hafiz Akçan didn't get a good kick on the ball. 68 Aksarayspor's Yahya Kemal Safvet got his second yellow card of the match in the 16th minute. The referee ordered Yahya Kemal Safvet off the ground. In the 18th match minute, Gölköy Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Hafiz Akçan to maneuver through the defense. If Ahmet Hafiz Akçan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When José Luis Sierra fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gölköy Fc's protests and gave José Luis Sierra a yellow card for diving instead. Songurbey Camcıoğlu made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Arif Cengiz Özerdem sent off a good shot on target. Arif Cengiz Özerdem came free with the goalkeeper in the 29th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Songurbey Camcıoğlu could save by the left post. Davut Uğurcan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Çağan Başoğlu having to interfere. Ahmet Hafiz Akçan might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Çağan Başoğlu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ahmet Hafiz Akçan ran back to his position shaking his head. After 40 minutes, Ahmet Seyfi İncirli mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the 68 Aksarayspor and the Gölköy Fc players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 40th match minute, 68 Aksarayspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Seyfi İncirli to maneuver through the defense. In the 43rd minute of the match Gölköy Fc got a corner. 68 Aksarayspor's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Davut Uğurcan was the one to do the kick off. Arif Cengiz Özerdem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Songurbey Camcıoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 52 played minutes Gölköy Fc got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Hafiz Akçan. A collision led to 68 Aksarayspor getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Furkan Tanalp hit a great ball. Ahmet Hafiz Akçan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Çağan Başoğlu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Gölköy Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Arif Cengiz Özerdem came free, but Songurbey Camcıoğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ahmet Hafiz Akçan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Çağan Başoğlu having to make a save. After having played for 72 minutes, Ahmet Hafiz Akçan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gölköy Fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmet Hafiz Akçan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Çağan Başoğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Hafiz Akçan in the 82nd minute of play. After some careless play in the Gölköy Fc defense, Derman Safvetullah kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Songurbey Camcıoğlu. The Gölköy Fc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Songurbey Camcıoğlu should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Hafiz Akçan in the 88th minute of play forced 68 Aksarayspor's goalkeeper Çağan Başoğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90thth minute of the game Ahmet Hafiz Akçan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 68 Aksarayspor's Çağan Başoğlu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 93rd minute, Ahmet Seyfi İncirli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Gölköy Fc's José Luis Sierra tried to score from far away in the 95th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The 68 Aksarayspor players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
