The referee felt a red card was in order, 4 minutes into the game, when Hüseyin Hataylı put in a rough tackle. The supporters of Basmakci FK booed when Proxima Quantum 2023 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hüseyin Hataylı didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 8th minute, Cevdet Yürük got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Semi Ünlüsoy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Battal Cüneyt Kanver showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cevdet Yürük, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Battal Cüneyt Kanver was a little too slow when Cevdet Yürük got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 16th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 22nd minute Esat Tokuzer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Türkeş Hacılar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Türkeş Hacılar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mansur Mazhar in the 23rd minute of the match. Proxima Quantum 2023's Türkeş Hacılar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beşir Nazir in the 25th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Proxima Quantum 2023's goal looked a bit too open when Beşir Nazir came free, but Türkeş Hacılar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Semi Ünlüsoy kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Battal Cüneyt Kanver. That made the score 2-0 in the 37 minute of play. When Semi Ünlüsoy came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Proxima Quantum 2023 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Semi Ünlüsoy couldn't finish the play. Battal Cüneyt Kanver made an important save on a dangerous shot by Semi Ünlüsoy in the 45th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 52nd minute, Semi Ünlüsoy ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Battal Cüneyt Kanver was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Beşir Nazir got free with Türkeş Hacılar in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 60th minute Cevdet Yürük shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Battal Cüneyt Kanver saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Battal Cüneyt Kanver showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Semi Ünlüsoy in the 62nd minute of the match. Cihan İlkan's late challenge caught a Proxima Quantum 2023's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cihan İlkan helped the player get up and apologised. Cihan İlkan hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. In the 68th minute Cevdet Yürük shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Battal Cüneyt Kanver saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Semi Ünlüsoy's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Battal Cüneyt Kanver was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. After 71 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Basmakci FK! Cevdet Yürük fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Battal Cüneyt Kanver having to interfere. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cevdet Yürük couldn't finish the play. Cevdet Yürük fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Battal Cüneyt Kanver having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Proxima Quantum 2023 fully deserved thier win.
