The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Mansur Mazhar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Minas Rousseas kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Nazil Pakel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mehmet Akif İldemir having to make a save. Nazil Pakel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mehmet Akif İldemir read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. Mehmet Akif İldemir showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mansur Mazhar in the 18th minute of the match. A collision led to Basmakci FK getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Bahtiyar Akkanoğlu hit a great ball. The throw-in from Aykutalp Adar in the 23rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Hacienda Del Patron's Ali Hamza Orsel. In the 27th minute, Çağatay Bucuk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mansur Mazhar kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. In the 29th match minute, Hacienda Del Patron was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Çağatay Bucuk to maneuver through the defense. Basmakci FK's Nazil Pakel shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 31st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Mehmet Akif İldemir but with some difficulty. Beşir Nazir came free with the goalkeeper in the 34th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Mehmet Akif İldemir could save by the left post. In the 44th minute Mansur Mazhar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mehmet Akif İldemir saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mehmet Akif İldemir made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Esat Tokuzer sent off a good shot on target. In the 47th match minute, Hacienda Del Patron was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Minas Rousseas to maneuver through the defense. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mansur Mazhar to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Hacienda Del Patron defense, Beşir Nazir kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mehmet Akif İldemir. The Hacienda Del Patron fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mehmet Akif İldemir should have stopped the shot. Beşir Nazir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Mehmet Akif İldemir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hacienda Del Patron's Mehmet Akif İldemir played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mansur Mazhar in the 64th minute of play. In the 65th minute, Beşir Nazir ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mehmet Akif İldemir was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. A collision led to Basmakci FK getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Cihan İlkan hit a great ball. Hacienda Del Patron were furious when Minas Rousseas was red carded, 76 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Mehmet Akif İldemir took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aykutalp Adar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Çağatay Bucuk hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tuncay Torgay during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Hacienda Del Patron getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Tuncay Torgay hit a great ball. Mehmet Akif İldemir showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mansur Mazhar in the 92nd minute of the match. During the 99th minute of the match Tuncay Torgay completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Tuncay Torgay a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 98th minute, one of Hacienda Del Patron:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Hacienda Del Patron. Hacienda Del Patron's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
