The throw-in from Sancarbey Canay in the 4th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Korukspor's Eyüp Kapsam. The supporters of Kocasinan booed when Korukspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Besim Şanlı didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 30th minute, Seyit Tunca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 36th minute, Ahmet Korcan Saatçi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ahmet İlke Aşık was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 46 minutes into the match, Kocasinan's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Korcan Saatçi came free, but Ahmet İlke Aşık reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The wind increased when Ahmet Korcan Saatçi made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ersin Yazgan in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ahmet Korcan Saatçi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ahmet Korcan Saatçi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Ahmet İlke Aşık made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ahmet Korcan Saatçi got free with Ahmet İlke Aşık in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kocasinan's Ahmet İlke Aşık played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Korcan Saatçi in the 89th minute of play. Korukspor's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
