Bor's attentive Besim Betik managed to snatch the ball when Bayındır Sezer made a throw-in in the 10th minute of the game. Tümer Usalp's late challenge caught a Bor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tümer Usalp helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Rumeli getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Tümer Usalp hit a great ball. Artun Andaç showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Babür Tunçöven in the 17th minute of the match. Artun Andaç made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Babür Tunçöven in the 19th minute of play. Okanay Serhun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timur Türcan, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sabit Uğurhan in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Okanay Serhun prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 33rd minute, Babür Tunçöven hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 35th play minutes Sabit Uğurhan shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Okanay Serhun and just under the crossbar into goal. 41 minutes into the game, Bor's Sabit Uğurhan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Okanay Serhun made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Sabit Uğurhan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bor's supporters rose to their feet, but Sabit Uğurhan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Okanay Serhun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

Ferman Akburak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Artun Andaç tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 62nd match minute, Bor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Avni İdilkurt to maneuver through the defense. After 64 played minutes Bor got a freekick which was hit by Avni İdilkurt. Rumeli's Okanay Serhun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Rumeli from getting a goal against them. Sabit Uğurhan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Artun Andaç showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Refik Sönmezalp in the 74th minute of the match. Ferman Akburak ran back to his position shaking his head. 91 minutes into the match, Bor's goal looked a bit too open when Babür Tunçöven came free, but Artun Andaç reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 94 minutes, Timur Türcan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Timur Türcan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bor's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
