Siegestor München's Franciszek Mlekodaj proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Siegestor München from getting a goal against them. If Nedim Şahinkan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 18 minutes into the match, Genç Kaplanlar's Gökhan Onultan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Franciszek Mlekodaj narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Franciszek Mlekodaj showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gökhan Onultan in the 55th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Genç Kaplanlar's Yılmaz Bayır got a free kick in the 59th minute. Davut Aşkıner was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 60th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 73rd minute, Gökhan Onultan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Franciszek Mlekodaj made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Murat Kunter in the 79th minute of play. Gökhan Onultan struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Franciszek Mlekodaj didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Genç Kaplanlar. Selçuk Tekin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nedim Şahinkan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Siegestor München's Davut Aşkıner was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Selçuk Tekin in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Atilano Ubarna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 94th minute, Sarper Gürgan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Atilano Ubarna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
