Spectators: 6660 (Terracing: 5100, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 60) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Mustafa Hamit Özger kicked off to start the match. Geovânio Moreno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sadri Lut in the 3rd minute of play. After recieving a nice pass, Ankara's Gennadiy Kovtun tried to score from far away in the 4th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Yusuf Bahadır Namal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentin Izãreanu having to interfere. Geovânio Moreno didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sadri Lut went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Yusuf Bahadır Namal's late challenge caught a BURGAZ FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yusuf Bahadır Namal helped the player get up and apologised. Yusuf Bahadır Namal kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Ankara's Ahmet Refik Umur got a free kick in the 22nd minute. 29 minutes into the game, BURGAZ FC's Osman Ekber nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Geovânio Moreno made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mustafa Hamit Özger in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Geovânio Moreno saved Ankara from getting behind. In the 33rd match minute, BURGAZ FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osman Ekber to maneuver through the defense. Geovânio Moreno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mustafa Hamit Özger in the 35th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sadri Lut in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Geovânio Moreno prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Geovânio Moreno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sadri Lut, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Ankara's Geovânio Moreno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mustafa Hamit Özger in the 47th minute of play. After the first half BURGAZ FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

51 minutes into the match, Ankara's goal looked a bit too open when Osman Ekber came free, but Geovânio Moreno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Hurşit Tunçaslan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mustafa Hamit Özger received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Geovânio Moreno came out and tried to block the shot, but Mustafa Hamit Özger slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 57th minute. Geovânio Moreno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mustafa Hamit Özger in the 60th minute of play. In the 61st minute Mustafa Hamit Özger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geovânio Moreno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Geovânio Moreno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Çakır Hacıfettahoğlu in the 72nd minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 78 minutes, Geovânio Moreno successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hurşit Tunçaslan in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Valentin Izãreanu saved BURGAZ FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mustafa Hamit Özger in the 81st minute of play forced Ankara's goalkeeper Geovânio Moreno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mustafa Hamit Özgers short, quick shot in the 85thth minute got Geovânio Moreno to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Sadri Lut had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Mustafa Hamit Özger managed to get in a good position for a shot. BURGAZ FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mustafa Hamit Özger was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Geovânio Moreno breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched BURGAZ FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
