Halit Ziya Türkcan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 37th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Güven Egeli. Mimi SK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 39th minute Tamer Özgener shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Güven Egeli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Güven Egeli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Senio Robires, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 41st minute Arif Nihat Benlioğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Güven Egeli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Güven Egeli didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aivar Lond went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After the first half Ardeşen Pirinçlikspor were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 70th match minute, Mimi SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abdulaziz Tümay to maneuver through the defense. In the 71st minute, Halit Ziya Türkcan sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Mimi SK's Güven Egeli didn't even have to move. Abdulaziz Tümay kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. After having played for 77 minutes, Genco Yalçınkaya managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mimi SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Genco Yalçınkaya was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 78 minutes into the match, Mustafa Oğuz Yaldırak had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sertaç Özgenalp. Ardeşen Pirinçlikspor's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mustafa Oğuz Yaldırak was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. A collision led to Ardeşen Pirinçlikspor getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Gökçen Teoman hit a great ball. Sertaç Özgenalp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdulaziz Tümay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Senio Robires got free with Güven Egeli in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 91 minutes into the match, Mimi SK's goal looked a bit too open when Arif Nihat Benlioğlu came free, but Güven Egeli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Güven Egeli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Senio Robires in the 92nd minute. Mustafa Oğuz Yaldırak blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sertaç Özgenalp having to make a save. The Ardeşen Pirinçlikspor supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match.
