Spectators: 7693 (Terracing: 5771, Seating: 1769, VIP seats: 153) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Piotr Jucha started the match with the kick off. Yalçın Erol kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Kevin Amado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hayati Arıtan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kevin Amado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hayati Arıtan's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. In the 6th minute, Gürhan Onurhan fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ümit Suhan, passed just outside the right post. In the 8th minute, Denizli's Sadettin Uzcan ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ümit Suhan. Ümit Suhan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 11th minute Gürhan Onurhan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ümit Suhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 13 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Kastamonuspor 1966! Ümit Suhan had in the 14thth minute some difficulties stopping Serbülent Durualp's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 18th minute Gürhan Onurhan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ümit Suhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gürhan Onurhan scored 3-0 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ümit Suhan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gürhan Onurhan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Ümit Suhan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Denizli's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Serbülent Durualp in the 95th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Kastamonuspor 1966 players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense.
