Spartak Ayala might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ümit Suhan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Spartak Ayala ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 34th minute Spartak Ayala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ümit Suhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Yavuz Bülent Akduman came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Kayserispor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yavuz Bülent Akduman couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Hayati Arıtan managed to get in a good position for a shot. But to his dismay, Spartak Ayala quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Kayserispor had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
