Spectators: 6776 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1766, VIP seats: 10) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Iwo Petka started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Leicester City's Seyhun Kıvılcım got a free kick in the 4th minute. Avni Kabadayı hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. In the 15th minute of the match Abdülhak Özgen sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kadim Soyselçuk skillfully saved the ball. Avni Kabadayı sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Servet İşbilir recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ferid Esentürk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iwo Petka in the 26th minute of the match. Kadim Soyselçuk made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Servet İşbilir sent off a good shot on target. 30 minutes into the match, Almus's goal looked a bit too open when Iwo Petka came free, but Ferid Esentürk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iwo Petka struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Ferid Esentürk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Leicester City. Servet İşbilir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ferid Esentürk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zygmunt Juszkowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Servet İşbilir kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Avni Kabadayı stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Leicester City's Müslüm Karaalp nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ferid Esentürk made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Almus's Ferid Esentürk proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Almus from getting a goal against them. In the 58th match minute, Leicester City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mustafa Orhan Artuç to maneuver through the defense. If Servet İşbilir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Iwo Petka kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Müslüm Karaalp hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Kadim Soyselçuk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Servet İşbilir in the 65th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zygmunt Juszkowski in the 67th minute of play forced Almus's goalkeeper Ferid Esentürk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Iwo Petka came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Leicester City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iwo Petka couldn't finish the play. If Zygmunt Juszkowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iwo Petka got free with Ferid Esentürk in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 89 minutes into the match, Rıfkı Paker notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Leicester City's Kadim Soyselçuk. Kadim Soyselçuk was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 94 minutes into the game, Avni Kabadayı was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Almus's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Leicester City the free kick. After 94 played minutes Almus got a freekick which was hit by Avni Kabadayı. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
