In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Karagümrük JK's goalkeeper Nejat Dalga, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nejat Dalga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bektaş Ali Yorgun, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Nejat Dalga had in the 64thth minute some difficulties stopping Hüseyin Cahit Gökkuşağı's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 66th minute, Karagümrük JK's Mehmet Hakkı Oğuz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ali Behzat Umur. Ali Behzat Umur yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. In the 69th minute, Batuğ Barkan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nejat Dalga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gökçek Sulhi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Karagümrük JK's zone, Paşa Devan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nejat Dalga came out of the goal and Paşa Devan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A hard shot 76 in the game by Mehmet Hakkı Oğuz from a close distance when the talented Ali Behzat Umur managed to make a qualified save. Korkuteli's players were relieved. Karagümrük JK's Arif Nihat Türk quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ahmet İlke Babürşah, made in the 77th minute of the game. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Korkuteli's goalkeeper Ali Behzat Umur, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Mehmet Hakkı Oğuz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Karagümrük JK's supporters rose to their feet, but Mehmet Hakkı Oğuz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
