Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mehmet Hakkı Oğuz took the kick off in the first half of the match. Mehmet Hakkı Oğuz did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Ferid Esentürk 4 minutes into the match. In the 6th match minute, Almus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ali Nejat Tapgaç to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Yüksel Akkın during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Yüksel Akkın hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Nejat Dalga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdülhak Özgen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nejat Dalga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Deniz Zübeyr, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. If Öztürk Mirza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karagümrük JK's Nejat Dalga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rıfkı Paker in the 21st minute of play. A collision led to Almus getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Deniz Zübeyr hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Öztürk Mirza took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Ferid Esentürk to make any attempt to save it. Faik Başkur hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. 30 minutes into the match, Karagümrük JK's Öztürk Mirza sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ferid Esentürk narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 32nd minute, Ali Nejat Tapgaç ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nejat Dalga was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Nejat Dalga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rıfkı Paker in the 38th minute of play. Nejat Dalga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ali Nejat Tapgaç, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ferid Esentürk made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mehmet Hakkı Oğuz in the 47th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Avni Kabadayı to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Talat Şahap hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 53 minutes, Öztürk Mirza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Karagümrük JK and the Almus players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nejat Dalga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ali Nejat Tapgaç, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mehmet Hakkı Oğuz in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ferid Esentürk prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ferid Esentürk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mehmet Hakkı Oğuz, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Öztürk Mirza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Ferid Esentürk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rd minute, Mehmet Hakkı Oğuz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Karagümrük JK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Nejat Dalga was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Avni Kabadayı showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-2 in the 68 minute of play. Almus's Ferid Esentürk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Öztürk Mirza in the 72nd minute of play. 77 minutes into the game, Hasan Can Uzalp was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Almus's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Karagümrük JK the free kick. In the 77th minute, one of Almus:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Almus. Ferid Esentürk had in the 79thth minute some difficulties stopping Gökalp Sayar's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After a long run with the ball, Gökalp Sayar did a trick in the 79th minute in front of Almus's goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. After that it was simple to shoot 4-2. An impressive performance by Karagümrük JK's Gökalp Sayar! Mehmet Hakkı Oğuz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ferid Esentürk having to make a save. Nejat Dalga made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Servet İşbilir sent off a good shot on target. Nejat Dalga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Avni Kabadayı in the 90th minute of play. Öztürk Mirza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Ferid Esentürk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Karagümrük JK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Almus had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
