Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Mehmet Hakkı Oğuz kicked off to start the match. Karagümrük JK's Ergincan Erguvan quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ceyhun Gariboğlu, made in the 4th minute of the game. 许泉帆 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nejat Dalga having to interfere. Ergincan Erguvan charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ergincan Erguvan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 13th match minute, Karagümrük JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ergincan Erguvan to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Karagümrük JK booed when izmir spor ny was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bircan Alptekin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ergincan Erguvan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. izmir spor ny's Haldun Başaran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Öztürk Mirza in the 19th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Mehmet Hakkı Oğuz notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of izmir spor ny's Haldun Başaran. Haldun Başaran was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Karagümrük JK getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Gökalp Sayar hit a great ball. In the 32nd match minute, Karagümrük JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Batuğ Barkan to maneuver through the defense. When Guadalupe Castañeda came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the izmir spor ny fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guadalupe Castañeda couldn't finish the play. 35 minutes into the match, izmir spor ny's goal looked a bit too open when Öztürk Mirza came free, but Haldun Başaran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. izmir spor ny's Haldun Başaran proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save izmir spor ny from getting a goal against them. In the 39th minute, Yusuf Ziya Açıkgöz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 41 minutes into the game, Mehmet Hakkı Oğuz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Karagümrük JK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave izmir spor ny the free kick. The supporters of izmir spor ny booed when Karagümrük JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mehmet Hakkı Oğuz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Haldun Başaran was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mehmet Hakkı Oğuz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 44 minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for 许泉帆 to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Öztürk Mirza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Haldun Başaran. izmir spor ny's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Öztürk Mirza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In the 67th minute, 许泉帆 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nejat Dalga was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Nejat Dalga made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when 许泉帆 sent off a good shot on target. Ergincan Erguvan kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Karagümrük JK's Nejat Dalga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bedih Kutam in the 77th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Öztürk Mirza in the 80th minute of play forced izmir spor ny's goalkeeper Haldun Başaran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to izmir spor ny getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Durmuş Olgunsoy hit a great ball. When Guadalupe Castañeda fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored izmir spor ny's protests and gave Guadalupe Castañeda a yellow card for diving instead. 82 minutes into the game, one of izmir spor ny:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the referee ended the match the Karagümrük JK players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
