An unexpectedly hard shot by Gökçek Lemi in the 29th minute of play forced Cappadocia FC's goalkeeper İsmet Ülgen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cappadocia FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Garip İbrahimoğlu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arın Ferhat Saruca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Garip İbrahimoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out.
