Lars Praßke scored 0-1 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sabit Şatıroğlu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Ted Lennartsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ted Lennartsson in the 10th minute of play forced Gençlikgücü's goalkeeper Sabit Şatıroğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sabit Şatıroğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ted Lennartsson in the 12th minute of the match. After 18 played minutes BURNAZ got a freekick which was hit by Caner Yalınayak. Nafiz Baliç sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gençlikgücü's Sabit Şatıroğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Jobo in the 20th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Nafiz Baliç got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Feridun Yavuzcan quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Murat Selim Recep in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Feridun Yavuzcan saved BURNAZ from getting behind. Sabit Şatıroğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ted Lennartsson in the 34th minute of the match. Feridun Yavuzcan made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Haldun Tuyuğ sent off a good shot on target. Sabit Şatıroğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lars Praßke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th minute of the match Gençlikgücü got a corner. BURNAZ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nafiz Baliç ran over to the corner to take the kick. Nafiz Baliç made a great header on Gençlikgücü's corner, it was just that BURNAZ's Feridun Yavuzcan managed to reach the ball for a save. With an all-out effort, Gençlikgücü's Feridun Yavuzcan threw himself towards the right post 47 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Murat Selim Recep, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The Gençlikgücü players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. BURNAZ were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Murat Selim Recep made the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Gençlikgücü got a freekick which was hit by Alperen Sayhan. The supporters of Gençlikgücü booed when BURNAZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. SK Playfair didn't get a good kick on the ball. 60 minutes into the match, BURNAZ's goal looked a bit too open when Murat Selim Recep came free, but Feridun Yavuzcan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Murat Selim Recep sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 63rd minute, Alperen Sayhan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. BURNAZ's SK Playfair couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 64th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Gençlikgücü. Devlet Afşaroğlu charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Devlet Afşaroğlu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Devlet Afşaroğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute, Gençlikgücü's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Lars Praßke fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 74th minute, Murat Selim Recep made a precise shot to the right of Feridun Yavuzcan. BURNAZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. 79 minutes into the game, Alperen Sayhan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gençlikgücü's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BURNAZ the free kick. If Lars Praßke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Gençlikgücü's Sabit Şatıroğlu got control of the ball when Lars Praßke tried to sneak it across the goal line. 92 minutes into the match, BURNAZ's goal looked a bit too open when Devlet Afşaroğlu came free, but Feridun Yavuzcan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute Martin Jobo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sabit Şatıroğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, Gençlikgücü's goalkeeper Sabit Şatıroğlu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lars Praßke. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. BURNAZ had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
