He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cappadocia FC reached it. After having played for 37 minutes, Sinan Ersevim managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cappadocia FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sinan Ersevim was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Kömürspor's goalkeeper Orkun Elçin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. İsmet Ülgen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kutlay Adaş in the 42nd minute of the match. After 46 played minutes Cappadocia FC got a freekick which was hit by Oğuzhan Er. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Atıf Mengübay was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Halil Utku Avşaroğlu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kömürspor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Oğuzhan Er recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. İsmet Ülgen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Halil Utku Avşaroğlu in the 75th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oğuzhan Er in the 78th minute of play forced Kömürspor's goalkeeper Orkun Elçin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vural İğdemir could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Orkun Elçin made a huge save. 82 minutes into the match, Kömürspor's goal looked a bit too open when Oğuzhan Er came free, but Orkun Elçin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Atıf Mengübay hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. In the 89th minute, Cappadocia FC's Oğuzhan Er ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Orkun Elçin. Orkun Elçin yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. 93 minutes into the match, Halil Utku Avşaroğlu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of İsmet Ülgen. Cappadocia FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Halil Utku Avşaroğlu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. The Kömürspor support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
