The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 12 minutes into the match, Grkn Atılım's goal looked a bit too open when Orbay Kunt came free, but Hüsmen Boysel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ARNAVUTKÖY:s Fernando Kahn showed great skill when he stopped Lucas Manex:s penalty. After a rather tough play, ARNAVUTKÖY's Joaquin Peru got a free kick in the 23rd minute. 25 minutes into the match, Semih Akbey notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of ARNAVUTKÖY's Fernando Kahn. Fernando Kahn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fernando Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Semih Akbey, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Grkn Atılım's Hüsmen Boysel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orbay Kunt in the 31st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Horaţiu Ciutacu got free with Hüsmen Boysel in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lucas Manex was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 36th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Fernando Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kaptan Bahadır, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 40th minute Orbay Kunt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hüsmen Boysel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Orbay Kunt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Hüsmen Boysel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Orbay Kunt to make the kick off. Hüsmen Boysel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orbay Kunt in the 52nd minute of play. Hüsmen Boysel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orbay Kunt in the 54th minute of the match. The supporters of ARNAVUTKÖY booed when Grkn Atılım was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Özmen Baysungur didn't get a good kick on the ball. Grkn Atılım's Hüsmen Boysel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orbay Kunt in the 56th minute of play. ARNAVUTKÖY's Fernando Kahn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save ARNAVUTKÖY from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Grkn Atılım's zone, Orbay Kunt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hüsmen Boysel came out of the goal and Orbay Kunt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 64 minutes into the game, ARNAVUTKÖY's Horaţiu Ciutacu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hüsmen Boysel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Fernando Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Manex in the 70th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Mehmet Emin Sahir managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grkn Atılım's supporters rose to their feet, but Mehmet Emin Sahir was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fernando Kahn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 74th minute Orbay Kunt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hüsmen Boysel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 77th minute, Joaquin Peru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 79 minutes, Horaţiu Ciutacu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ARNAVUTKÖY's supporters crossed their fingers, but Horaţiu Ciutacu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 82 played minutes ARNAVUTKÖY got a freekick which was hit by Joaquin Peru. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Orbay Kunt in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hüsmen Boysel saved Grkn Atılım from getting behind. Fernando Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mehmet Emin Sahir in the 95th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Grkn Atılım left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than ARNAVUTKÖY.
