After 20 played minutes Pekdemir İsabeyli SK got a freekick which was hit by Shi Yang Zhou. Chicão Proença took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fausto Gomesano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee felt a red card was in order, 24 minutes into the game, when Bahadırhan Karahan put in a rough tackle. After 23 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. Bekir Babaoğlu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Darwin Núñez couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Kadri Özdener managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pekdemir İsabeyli SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Kadri Özdener was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bekir Babaoğlu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 89th minute, Veysel Tuğkun left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net.
