Dilmen Arslanşah made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esteve Canor in the 7th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Hakan Çeliksu in the 12th minute of play forced GÜMELİSPOR's goalkeeper Vecdi Yurday to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to KartallarYüksekucar getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Anıl Cerit hit a great ball. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind KartallarYüksekucar's goalkeeper Dilmen Arslanşah, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 16 minutes into the match, KartallarYüksekucar's goal looked a bit too open when Beyhan Alkım came free, but Dilmen Arslanşah reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute Ahmet Hakan Çeliksu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vecdi Yurday saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. KartallarYüksekucar were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after GÜMELİSPOR's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hikmet Remiz took the corner. The corner ended in Agah Sarpkan almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but GÜMELİSPOR's Vecdi Yurday did a great save. Vecdi Yurday made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aygün Ergüç in the 24th minute. Aygün Ergüç's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Vecdi Yurday firmly grabbed it by the left post. Vecdi Yurday showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Hakan Çeliksu in the 31st minute of the match. If Ahmet Hakan Çeliksu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Beyhan Alkım received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Dilmen Arslanşah tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. GÜMELİSPOR's Vecdi Yurday played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Hakan Çeliksu in the 44th minute of play. Vecdi Yurday took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Hakan Çeliksu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vecdi Yurday came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by KartallarYüksekucar's Ahmet Hakan Çeliksu. But to his dismay, Ahmet Hakan Çeliksu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

With an all-out effort, GÜMELİSPOR's Dilmen Arslanşah threw himself towards the right post 56 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Esteve Canor, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. KartallarYüksekucar's Dilmen Arslanşah played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esteve Canor in the 59th minute of play. GÜMELİSPOR's Ulvi Oğuzhan was substituted for Reuben Cefai. 62 minutes had been played when some careless play by KartallarYüksekucar's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Alexei Perju was slow to take the kick. During this time GÜMELİSPOR's players had a chance to rest. Ryan Giggs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dilmen Arslanşah having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as GÜMELİSPOR's Esteve Canor slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dilmen Arslanşah. That made the score 1-3 after 72 minutes of play. Ryan Giggs hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. In the 80th minute Aygün Ergüç shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vecdi Yurday saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Esteve Canor in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dilmen Arslanşah prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The KartallarYüksekucar fans' excitement grew in the 87th match minute when KartallarYüksekucar's Aygün Ergüç looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 93rd minute, Aygün Ergüç ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vecdi Yurday was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-3.
