In the 4th minute, Ditlef Garrouj left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Erbaaspor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in ETİLİ SPOR's zone, Ditlef Garrouj stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yağız İmamoğlu came out of the goal and Ditlef Garrouj tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 18 minutes into the match, Zikri Hikmet notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of ETİLİ SPOR's Yağız İmamoğlu. Yağız İmamoğlu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 22nd minute of the match ETİLİ SPOR got a corner. Erbaaspor's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Costică Purcaru ran over to the corner to take the kick. Costică Purcaru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zikri Hikmet in the 25th minute of play forced ETİLİ SPOR's goalkeeper Yağız İmamoğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th minute Ditlef Garrouj shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yağız İmamoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 40 in the game by Costică Purcaru from a close distance when the talented Nejat Taşboğa managed to make a qualified save. Erbaaspor's players were relieved. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Costică Purcaru stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Costică Purcaru's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nejat Taşboğa was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. Zikri Hikmet's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Yağız İmamoğlu firmly grabbed it by the left post. 55 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Erbaaspor's Zikri Hikmet fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. Costică Purcaru recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Costică Purcaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 77 minutes into the match, Zikri Hikmet notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of ETİLİ SPOR's Yağız İmamoğlu. Yağız İmamoğlu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 81 minutes into the match, ETİLİ SPOR's goal looked a bit too open when Ditlef Garrouj came free, but Yağız İmamoğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zikri Hikmet who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 84thth minute tested the skills of Yağız İmamoğlu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Abbas Yeten's late challenge caught a Erbaaspor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abbas Yeten helped the player get up and apologised. In the 85th match minute, ETİLİ SPOR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abbas Yeten to maneuver through the defense. Nejat Taşboğa came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by ETİLİ SPOR's Costică Purcaru. But to his dismay, Costică Purcaru quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. ETİLİ SPOR's Yağız İmamoğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abel Pasqual in the 96th minute of play.
