A hard shot 5 in the game by Adis Jahovic from a close distance when the talented Gong Jun Feng managed to make a qualified save. Gültekin SK's players were relieved. Niyazi Saygur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yüksel Refah in the 7th minute of the match. Aktaç Rüstem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Niyazi Saygur came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Gültekin SK's Yüksel Refah. But to his dismay, Yüksel Refah quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The supporters of Fc Beşiktaş booed when Gültekin SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacques Hevia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gültekin SK's Gong Jun Feng proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Gültekin SK from getting a goal against them. When Gültekin SK's Aktaç Rüstem in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fc Beşiktaş's goalie prevented a goal. Gong Jun Feng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adis Jahovic, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd minute, Aktaç Rüstem ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Niyazi Saygur was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 35 minutes into the game, Adis Jahovic lined in a short shot 1-2 behind a frustrated Gong Jun Feng. In the 39th match minute, Fc Beşiktaş was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eşref Neşet to maneuver through the defense. Niyazi Saygur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yüksel Refah in the 40th minute of the match. Gong Jun Feng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hıncal Akbayrak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 43 minutes into the match, Gültekin SK's goal looked a bit too open when Hıncal Akbayrak came free, but Gong Jun Feng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yüksel Refah took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Niyazi Saygur. Niyazi Saygur dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aktaç Rüstem made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Fc Beşiktaş's zone, Aktaç Rüstem stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Niyazi Saygur came out of the goal and Aktaç Rüstem tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Fc Beşiktaş's Tolga Darga got a free kick in the 55th minute. Gong Jun Feng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eşref Neşet in the 61st minute of play. 62 minutes into the game, Ali Hekimhanlı recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Niyazi Saygur. Ali Hekimhanlı showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. Nejat Alp Berksan kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Gong Jun Feng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adis Jahovic, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. 67 minutes into the match, Fc Beşiktaş's goal looked a bit too open when Aktaç Rüstem came free, but Niyazi Saygur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hasan Can Akçabay hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Jacques Hevia kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. In the 69th minute, Adis Jahovic ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gong Jun Feng was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. Fc Beşiktaş's Hıncal Akbayrak got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Adis Jahovic came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Fc Beşiktaş fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adis Jahovic couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aktaç Rüstem in the 79th minute of play forced Fc Beşiktaş's goalkeeper Niyazi Saygur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yüksel Refah came free with the goalkeeper in the 80th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Niyazi Saygur could save by the left post. In the 81st minute Gültekin SK were awarded a corner. Aktaç Rüstem went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 84th minute Jacques Hevia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niyazi Saygur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gültekin SK's Gong Jun Feng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gencer Bozbora in the 93rd minute of play. The Gültekin SK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Gültekin SK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
