The audience thought a goal was coming when Sergen Talaykut got free with İnanç Ilıcak in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hürkan Hicab sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tolga Sahat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bayındır Tümerk, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ahmet Hafiz Zübeyr to make the kick off. Bayındır Tümerk kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Hurşit İmamoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out.
