Costică Purcaru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alper Özerdim having to interfere. When Nedim Varan came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the BersanBüyükSehirBelediye fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nedim Varan couldn't finish the play. In the 22nd minute Hipólito Chagas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alper Özerdim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes had been played when some careless play by BersanBüyükSehirBelediye's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Costică Purcaru was slow to take the kick. During this time ETİLİ SPOR's players had a chance to rest. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Costică Purcaru to make the kick off. In the 53rdth minute of the game Costică Purcaru who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BersanBüyükSehirBelediye's Alper Özerdim was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Yağız İmamoğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Süruri Hızlan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nedim Varan's late challenge caught a ETİLİ SPOR's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Despite being the better team, ETİLİ SPOR failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
