ULTRASLAN's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Üzeyir Zaid was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Ali Çağrı Çetiner might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zülfikar Özdinç. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ali Çağrı Çetiner ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 14th minute, Üzeyir Zaid made a precise shot to the right of Zülfikar Özdinç. ULTRASLAN's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. ULTRASLAN's Zülfikar Özdinç proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save ULTRASLAN from getting a goal against them. In the 17th minute, Okanay Özbay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aydın Baybora struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Zülfikar Özdinç didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MALATYASPOR. Bahattin Yetkiner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gürcan Çokman, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Doğa Osmanlıoğlu in the 32nd minute of play forced MALATYASPOR's goalkeeper Bahattin Yetkiner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ULTRASLAN's Zülfikar Özdinç proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save ULTRASLAN from getting a goal against them. Bahattin Yetkiner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Doğa Osmanlıoğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Ali Çağrı Çetiner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ali Çağrı Çetiner stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Ali Çağrı Çetiner's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zülfikar Özdinç was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ali Çağrı Çetiner in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zülfikar Özdinç saved ULTRASLAN from getting behind. MALATYASPOR's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
