In the 15th match minute, Orlando Pirates was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mümtazer Asya to maneuver through the defense. After 18 minutes of play, Orlando Pirates's Özer Yılğıralp made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arif Çelebi Tümel was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Özer Yılğıralp in the 23rd minute of play forced soldiER's goalkeeper Arif Çelebi Tümel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Orlando Pirates's goal looked a bit too open when Siim Pabin came free, but Berkem Bayındır reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ömür Sabuncu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ömür Sabuncu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baycan Beykan kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, soldiER's Baycan Beykan got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Ömür Sabuncu kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Pastor Rik recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. The soldiER fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when soldiER's Siim Pabin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Orlando Pirates's Berkem Bayındır played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Siim Pabin in the 42nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Orlando Pirates's Kazimierz Kapinos got a free kick in the 46th minute.

After a defensive mix-up in Orlando Pirates's zone, Siim Pabin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Berkem Bayındır came out of the goal and Siim Pabin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Siim Pabin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 63 minutes, Siim Pabin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. soldiER's supporters crossed their fingers, but Siim Pabin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arif Çelebi Tümel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ömür Sabuncu, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. 66 minutes into the match, soldiER's goal looked a bit too open when Ömür Sabuncu came free, but Arif Çelebi Tümel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Baycan Beykan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Berkem Bayındır having to interfere. Siim Pabin's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 69thth minute, Berkem Bayındır skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 71stth minute of the game Siim Pabin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Orlando Pirates's Berkem Bayındır was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 77th minute, Pastor Rik got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 80th minute, Reşit Nazif hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arif Çelebi Tümel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Özer Yılğıralp in the 83rd minute of play. Arif Çelebi Tümel came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Orlando Pirates's Jair Arizmendi. But to his dismay, Jair Arizmendi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
