Sarp Savgat who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 28thth minute tested the skills of Berkem Bayındır when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the match clock showed 34 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Sarp Savgat sped through Orlando Pirates's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Berkem Bayındır. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sarp Savgat in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Berkem Bayındır prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cleiton Borges made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Ömür Sabuncu sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Orlando Pirates booed when Eyüp was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serhat Zaik didn't get a good kick on the ball.
