Ahmet Kutsi İnan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arif Cengiz Akel in the 5th minute of the match. Sarp Atikoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. ST Lions FC's Göksun İcmal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tahir Eriş in the 15th minute of play. A collision led to Gedeli SK getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Anıl Ege Erdurmus hit a great ball. In the 20th minute, Arif Cengiz Akel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Özdemir Kutlualp fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ST Lions FC's protests and gave Özdemir Kutlualp a yellow card for diving instead. After 23 played minutes ST Lions FC got a freekick which was hit by Özdemir Kutlualp. In the 24th minute of the match Atıf Tanırcan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Göksun İcmal showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Sarp Atikoğlu scored 1-0 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Göksun İcmal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Göksun İcmal was out of position in the 30 minute of play, and Luisito Suarez capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Luisito Suarez really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. In the 35th minute, Gedeli SK's Sarp Atikoğlu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Göksun İcmal. Göksun İcmal yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. In the 41st minute, Gedeli SK's Sarp Atikoğlu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. Gedeli SK's Atıf Tanırcan couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 46th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for ST Lions FC. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sarp Atikoğlu in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Göksun İcmal saved ST Lions FC from getting behind. Göksun İcmal came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Gedeli SK's Sarp Atikoğlu. But to his dismay, Sarp Atikoğlu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. After a rather tough play, Gedeli SK's Tahir Eriş got a free kick in the 61st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arif Cengiz Akel got free with Ahmet Kutsi İnan in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Göksun İcmal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sarp Atikoğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. ST Lions FC's Özdemir Kutlualp got his second yellow card of the match in the 70th minute. The referee ordered Özdemir Kutlualp off the ground. After 70 played minutes ST Lions FC got a freekick which was hit by Özdemir Kutlualp. 72 minutes into the game, Luisito Suarez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Göksun İcmal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 75thth minute of the game Sarp Atikoğlu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ST Lions FC's Göksun İcmal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Gedeli SK's Mehmet Arif Balkoç in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 89th match minute, ST Lions FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arif Cengiz Akel to maneuver through the defense. After 91 minutes, Mehmet Arif Balkoç made it 8-0 with a short kick to the right side. ST Lions FC's Göksun İcmal tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Gedeli SK's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
