The Sezai fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rahim Boran should have stopped the shot. ManCiTy's Orçun Yabgu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save ManCiTy from getting a goal against them. Orçun Yabgu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Derya Kalhan showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 28 minute of play. 33 minutes into the game, ManCiTy's Atıf Kıvılcım nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rahim Boran made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Rahim Boran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atıf Kıvılcım in the 36th minute of the match. Sezai's Rahim Boran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Efekan Akyol in the 37th minute of play. After 38 played minutes Sezai got a freekick which was hit by Derya Kalhan. Şimşek Akkoç charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Şimşek Akkoç the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to ManCiTy getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Şimşek Akkoç hit a great ball. In the 60th minute, Aziz Atabek ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rahim Boran was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-3. After 66 played minutes Sezai got a freekick which was hit by Muzaffer Yürüker. 73 minutes into the match, Derya Kalhan notched a goal, 5-4, to the right of ManCiTy's Orçun Yabgu. Orçun Yabgu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Sezai's zone, Atıf Kıvılcım stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rahim Boran came out of the goal and Atıf Kıvılcım tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rahim Boran made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Aziz Atabek sent off a good shot on target. Orçun Yabgu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andréas Strömberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Sezai's Rahim Boran got control of the ball when Atıf Kıvılcım tried to sneak it across the goal line. Atıf Kıvılcım recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Sezai booed when ManCiTy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Umur Özpulat didn't get a good kick on the ball. 87 minutes into the match, ManCiTy's goal looked a bit too open when Derya Kalhan came free, but Orçun Yabgu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Orçun Yabgu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Derya Kalhan, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. If Derya Kalhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 93 minutes of play, ManCiTy's Aziz Atabek made it 5-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rahim Boran was left in no man's land by his defense there! Orçun Yabgu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andréas Strömberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andréas Strömberg scored 6-5 in the 97th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Orçun Yabgu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sezai's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
