After 21st play minutes Haldun Onay shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Ata Türk and just under the crossbar into goal. Kerem Ümit showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cezmi Ugraş, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Ata Türk made an important save on a dangerous shot by Haldun Onay in the 28th minute. After a rather tough play, Bursalona's Samet Tümkurt got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Kerem Ümit took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alperen Turhan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Ata Türk managed to avoid a goal in the 43rdth minute, when Bursalona's Haldun Onay fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 46 played minutes Bursalona got a freekick which was hit by Baturalp Tolun.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cezmi Ugraş to make the kick off. Kerem Ümit was out of position in the 51 minute of play, and Cezmi Ugraş capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cezmi Ugraş really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. 54 minutes into the game, US Città di Palermo's Alperen Turhan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kerem Ümit made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. After 60 minutes, Ali Kağan Oncel mouthed his way into the referee's book. Ata Türk didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Haldun Onay went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. Kerem Ümit showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cihat Ergüven in the 66th minute of the match. In the 68th minute Cihat Ergüven shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kerem Ümit saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anıl Ege Ruhi was slow to take the kick. During this time Bursalona's players had a chance to rest. Samet Tümkurt was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 93rd minute Cezmi Ugraş shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kerem Ümit saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cezmi Ugraş scored 3-6 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kerem Ümit, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. US Città di Palermo's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
