The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Yesiltepespor getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Damazy Jajecznica hit a great ball. The audience held their breath when Yusuf Bahadır Semdin in the 4th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the José Francisco Cevallos's left hand side. 9 minutes into the match, Yesiltepespor's goal looked a bit too open when Songurhan Özbek came free, but José Francisco Cevallos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Garip Uygar got free with Erdeniz Gülsoy in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zekeriya Kahveci could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Erdeniz Gülsoy made a huge save. Garip Uygar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Erdeniz Gülsoy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, Lara FK's goalkeeper Erdeniz Gülsoy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jakub Dranka. Erdem Attar struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Erdeniz Gülsoy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yesiltepespor. 30 minutes into the match, Lara FK's goalkeeper Erdeniz Gülsoy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zekeriya Kahveci. José Francisco Cevallos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Doğa Akbayrak, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. 38 minutes in the game, Erdem Attar fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Erdeniz Gülsoy having to interfere. Erdeniz Gülsoy came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Yesiltepespor's Garip Uygar. But to his dismay, Garip Uygar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. With a little luck, Lara FK's Erdeniz Gülsoy got control of the ball when Zekeriya Kahveci tried to sneak it across the goal line. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Yusuf Bahadır Semdin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Songurhan Özbek mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lara FK and the Yesiltepespor players grew even worse after the yellow card. Erdeniz Gülsoy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Garip Uygar in the 54th minute of play. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Erdem Attar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erdeniz Gülsoy having to interfere. Halil Merih kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. The supporters of Lara FK booed when Yesiltepespor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julian Celino didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 73 minutes of play, Yesiltepespor's Erdem Attar made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Erdeniz Gülsoy was left in no man's land by his defense there! Zekeriya Kahveci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jakub Dranka in the 86th minute of play forced Lara FK's goalkeeper Erdeniz Gülsoy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Yusuf Bahadır Semdin came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Lara FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yusuf Bahadır Semdin couldn't finish the play. José Francisco Cevallos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yusuf Bahadır Semdin, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Yesiltepespor's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
