Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Cezmi Ugraş got the match started through his kick off. After 3 minutes of play, US Città di Palermo's Cezmi Ugraş made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mehmet Halis Şensoy was left in no man's land by his defense there! 6 minutes into the game, Çetin Teber was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Askale's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave US Città di Palermo the free kick. US Città di Palermo's Ali Faruk Sarıkaya was substituted for Erdem Sonay. In the 7th match minute, Askale was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Çetin Teber to maneuver through the defense. Rahmi Ahioğlu's late challenge caught a US Città di Palermo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rahmi Ahioğlu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 9th minute, one of Askale:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Askale. In the 12th minute there was a penalty for US Città di Palermo. Aktan Hazret stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Mehmet Halis Şensoy. 0-2. After 15 played minutes Askale got a freekick which was hit by Arif Oğuz Ömürcan. Mehmet Halis Şensoy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cezmi Ugraş in the 17th minute of the match. Hayrettin Sabih kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. The audience held their breath when Çetin Teber in the 21st minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Ata Türk's left hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Çağrı Pektürk managed to get in a good position for a shot. US Città di Palermo's supporters rose to their feet, but Çağrı Pektürk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mehmet Halis Şensoy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 24 minutes into the match, Cezmi Ugraş notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Askale's Mehmet Halis Şensoy. Mehmet Halis Şensoy was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A hard shot 28 in the game by Çetin Teber from a close distance when the talented Ata Türk managed to make a qualified save. US Città di Palermo's players were relieved. 31 minutes into the match, Cezmi Ugraş notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Askale's Mehmet Halis Şensoy. Mehmet Halis Şensoy was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mehmet Halis Şensoy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alperen Turhan in the 34th minute of play. With a little luck, US Città di Palermo's Ata Türk got control of the ball when Çetin Teber tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ali Faruk Sarıkaya charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ali Faruk Sarıkaya the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 37th minute, Ali Faruk Sarıkaya hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 38th minute, Cezmi Ugraş ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mehmet Halis Şensoy was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. 42 minutes into the match, Askale's goal looked a bit too open when Cezmi Ugraş came free, but Mehmet Halis Şensoy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 42 played minutes Askale got a freekick which was hit by Hakkı Sanal. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, Cezmi Ugraş put it in 0-6 from a short distance just to the right of Mehmet Halis Şensoy. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cezmi Ugraş in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mehmet Halis Şensoy prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

In the 51st minute Cihat Ergüven shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mehmet Halis Şensoy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 54 played minutes Askale got a freekick which was hit by Roman Barma. Mehmet Halis Şensoy was a little too slow when Alperen Turhan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 58th minute. The score was now 0-8. Hayrettin Sabih kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. 65 minutes into the game, Cezmi Ugraş recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mehmet Halis Şensoy. Cezmi Ugraş showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-9. Mehmet Halis Şensoy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cihat Ergüven, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Mehmet Halis Şensoy managed to avoid a goal in the 74thth minute, when US Città di Palermo's Cezmi Ugraş fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Cezmi Ugraş who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 77thth minute tested the skills of Mehmet Halis Şensoy when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Cezmi Ugraş could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Mehmet Halis Şensoy made a huge save. The supporters of Askale booed when US Città di Palermo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cihat Ergüven didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mehmet Halis Şensoy was a little too slow when Cezmi Ugraş got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 82nd minute. The score was now 0-10. The audience was convinced that Cezmi Ugraş's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mehmet Halis Şensoy was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. The supporters of US Città di Palermo booed when Askale was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roman Barma didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aktan Hazret took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 90th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mehmet Halis Şensoy. Askale's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Cezmi Ugraş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cezmi Ugraşs short, quick shot in the 95thth minute got Mehmet Halis Şensoy to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. US Città di Palermo's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
