In the 15th minute of the match, Haldun Onay tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Abdullah Taşgan saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Kerem Ümit didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sedat Okkan went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Haldun Onay in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abdullah Taşgan saved Lara FK from getting behind. After 24 played minutes Bursalona got a freekick which was hit by Baturalp Tolun. Kerem Ümit came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Lara FK's Yusuf Bahadır Semdin. But to his dismay, Yusuf Bahadır Semdin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 30th minute Bursalona were awarded a corner. Anıl Ege Ruhi went to the cornerflag to take it. Haldun Onay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Abdullah Taşgan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Enver Özdeğer during the 38th minute. The supporters of Lara FK booed when Bursalona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Haldun Onay didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The wind increased when Sedat Okkan made the kick off in the second half.
