Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Cüneyt Cerme took the kick off in the first half of the match. Mehmet Halis Şensoy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cüneyt Cerme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Vefa Sümeroğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Vefa Sümeroğlu came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Askale fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vefa Sümeroğlu couldn't finish the play. Tuncay Başeğmez's late challenge caught a Askale's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tuncay Başeğmez helped the player get up and apologised. In the 7th minute, one of Seydisehirspor:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Seydisehirspor. Askale's Mehmet Halis Şensoy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kılıçhan Temizsan in the 13th minute of play. 14 minutes into the game, Vefa Sümeroğlu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Askale's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Seydisehirspor the free kick. In the 14th match minute, Askale was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vefa Sümeroğlu to maneuver through the defense. Rauf Teoman struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Mehmet Halis Şensoy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Seydisehirspor. 21 minutes into the match, Kılıçhan Temizsan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mehmet Halis Şensoy. Askale's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kılıçhan Temizsan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Demis Velakos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vefa Sümeroğlu in the 26th minute of play. Cüneyt Cerme took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mehmet Halis Şensoy. Mehmet Halis Şensoy dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. After a defensive mix-up in Askale's zone, Kılıçhan Temizsan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mehmet Halis Şensoy came out of the goal and Kılıçhan Temizsan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kılıçhan Temizsan in the 32nd minute of play forced Askale's goalkeeper Mehmet Halis Şensoy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Askale defense, Arda Baybars Hacılar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mehmet Halis Şensoy. The Askale fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mehmet Halis Şensoy should have stopped the shot. The Seydisehirspor fans' excitement grew in the 46th match minute when Seydisehirspor's Cüneyt Cerme looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kutluay Hekimbaşı was the one to do the kick off. Mehmet Halis Şensoy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tunç Yılğıralp in the 59th minute of the match. Seydisehirspor's Demis Velakos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Çetin Teber in the 62nd minute of play. Askale's Mehmet Halis Şensoy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Askale from getting a goal against them. Demis Velakos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kutluay Hekimbaşı in the 64th minute of play. In the 66th minute, Seydisehirspor's Cüneyt Cerme ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mehmet Halis Şensoy. Mehmet Halis Şensoy yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-6. Mehmet Halis Şensoy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kılıçhan Temizsan in the 69th minute of play. Askale's Mehmet Halis Şensoy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tunç Yılğıralp in the 70th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Seydisehirspor's Kılıçhan Temizsan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mehmet Halis Şensoy. That made the score 1-7 after 71 minutes of play. Başaran Cansoy lost his temper 75 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 81 minutes into the match, Seydisehirspor's goal looked a bit too open when Çetin Teber came free, but Demis Velakos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Demis Velakos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kutluay Hekimbaşı in the 84th minute of play. Kutluay Hekimbaşı received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Demis Velakos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kutluay Hekimbaşı sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Çetin Teber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 95 minutes into the game, Kılıçhan Temizsan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-8. Mehmet Halis Şensoy was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
