With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nuralp Diclehan in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mehmet Halis Şensoy saved Askale from getting behind. 43 minutes into the match, Askale's goal looked a bit too open when Nuralp Diclehan came free, but Mehmet Halis Şensoy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th minute, Ahmet Ege Arıhan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The deathsidestory fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 6-0. When Günay Seza fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored deathsidestory's protests and gave Günay Seza a yellow card for diving instead. Askale made a substitution. Rahmi Ahioğlu replaced Vefa Sümeroğlu. When Nuralp Diclehan came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the deathsidestory fans jumped to their feet.
