Erkan Başok was slow to take the kick. During this time ESKİŞEHİRSPOR's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Celil Ahid managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Bahtiyar Veziroğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Babür Ulus in the 20th minute of play forced ESKİŞEHİRSPOR's goalkeeper Okan Akdoğan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Abdulvahit Tunç fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ESKİŞEHİRSPOR's protests and gave Abdulvahit Tunç a yellow card for diving instead. ESKİŞEHİRSPOR's Okan Akdoğan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Babür Ulus in the 22nd minute of play. Okan Akdoğan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Babür Ulus, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Erenay İlbeyi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celil Ahid in the 26th minute of the match. Celil Ahid could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Erenay İlbeyi made a huge save. After 29 played minutes ESKİŞEHİRSPOR got a freekick which was hit by Battal Özguc. In the 31st minute there was a penalty for Hendek. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Celil Ahid to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Babür Ulus got free with Okan Akdoğan in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 80th minute Battal Özguc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erenay İlbeyi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sarper Sarvan during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Okan Akdoğan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Babür Ulus's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. The ESKİŞEHİRSPOR fans' excitement grew in the 96th match minute when ESKİŞEHİRSPOR's Celil Ahid looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
