If Celil Ahid had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The ESKİŞEHİRSPOR fans' excitement grew in the 9th match minute when ESKİŞEHİRSPOR's Celil Ahid looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Okan Akdoğan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aktan Develi's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Raik Özdener recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Raik Özdener fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Semi Akmeşe having to interfere. Berkin Saygın sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 30th minute, Cengiz Artan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aktan Develi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. In the 35th minute, one of ESKİŞEHİRSPOR:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for ESKİŞEHİRSPOR. Okan Akdoğan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aktan Develi in the 40th minute of play. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind ESKİŞEHİRSPOR's goalkeeper Okan Akdoğan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Raik Özdener could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Semi Akmeşe made a huge save. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Celil Ahid to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute Celil Ahid shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Semi Akmeşe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 55th minute, Aktan Develi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Midgards fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Kubat Hazer took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 60th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Semi Akmeşe. Midgards's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Semi Akmeşe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celil Ahid in the 63rd minute of the match. Sami Işık sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 71 played minutes ESKİŞEHİRSPOR got a freekick which was hit by Abdulvahit Tunç. 79 minutes into the game, Yavuz Selim Işık was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ESKİŞEHİRSPOR's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Midgards the free kick. In the 80th match minute, ESKİŞEHİRSPOR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yavuz Selim Işık to maneuver through the defense. In the 87th match minute, ESKİŞEHİRSPOR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abdulvahit Tunç to maneuver through the defense. Okan Akdoğan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Berkin Saygın, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Sami Işık charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sami Işık the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 92nd minute, Sami Işık hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Midgards's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
