A collision led to gaziantep getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Sonny Forsberg hit a great ball. In the 12th minute of the match Abdulbaki Korkut shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ivan Aanicăi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Haluk Ülker charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Haluk Ülker the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 13th minute, Haluk Ülker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Bektaş Sayrak managed to get in a good position for a shot. ZorlaGeldik's supporters rose to their feet, but Bektaş Sayrak was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivan Aanicăi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bektaş Sayrak in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ivan Aanicăi saved gaziantep from getting behind. Ivan Aanicăi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fuat Onursoy in the 35th minute of the match. After 38 minutes of play, ZorlaGeldik's Fuat Onursoy made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ivan Aanicăi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ivan Aanicăi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bektaş Sayrak went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. ZorlaGeldik's Kamber Hünkar got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half ZorlaGeldik were leading 1-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

ZorlaGeldik's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
