In the 3rd minute Bektaş Sayrak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Holmberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tommy Holmberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kamber Hünkar in the 8th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Bektaş Sayrak's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tommy Holmberg was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. Tommy Holmberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hilmi Koytan in the 14th minute of the match. MaCiRaN RepubliC 1907's Tommy Holmberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yılmaz Haksever in the 16th minute of play. Tommy Holmberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hilmi Koytan in the 18th minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, MaCiRaN RepubliC 1907's goal looked a bit too open when Bektaş Sayrak came free, but Tommy Holmberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute, Mats Näver ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kazım Kuthan was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yılmaz Haksever in the 31st minute of play forced MaCiRaN RepubliC 1907's goalkeeper Tommy Holmberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tommy Holmberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kamber Hünkar, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. 35 minutes into the match, MaCiRaN RepubliC 1907's goal looked a bit too open when Bektaş Sayrak came free, but Tommy Holmberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tommy Holmberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bektaş Sayrak, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. ZorlaGeldik's Kazım Kuthan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mats Näver in the 37th minute of play. Fahri Vahdettins short, quick shot in the 39thth minute got Kazım Kuthan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Kazım Kuthan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Friedrich Nietzsche, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bektaş Sayrak stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Friedrich Nietzsche blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kazım Kuthan having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hilmi Koytan got free with Tommy Holmberg in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 59 minutes into the match, Bektaş Sayrak had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tommy Holmberg. MaCiRaN RepubliC 1907's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bektaş Sayrak was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. MaCiRaN RepubliC 1907's Fahri Vahdettin got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as ZorlaGeldik's Hilmi Koytan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tommy Holmberg. That made the score 1-3 after 65 minutes of play. Tommy Holmberg made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Bektaş Sayrak sent off a good shot on target. Fahri Vahdettin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 76 minutes into the match, MaCiRaN RepubliC 1907's goalkeeper Tommy Holmberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bektaş Sayrak. After a rather tough play, ZorlaGeldik's Bektaş Sayrak got a free kick in the 78th minute. Vahdet Tayfur hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. In the 89th play minute Hilmi Koytan came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Tommy Holmberg. 1-5. After a defensive mix-up in ZorlaGeldik's zone, Mats Näver stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kazım Kuthan came out of the goal and Mats Näver tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The ZorlaGeldik supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing ZorlaGeldik would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
