Eyüp Kılınçs short, quick shot in the 17thth minute got Raoul Boehnke to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 20th minute, Paul Caniggia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. İnanç Tellioğlu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. İnanç Tellioğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paul Caniggia in the 24th minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, CİMBOM FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bernaldo Silva came free, but İnanç Tellioğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. CİMBOM FC's İnanç Tellioğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tudor Orășan in the 26th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, CİMBOM FC's Eyüp Kılınç sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Raoul Boehnke narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eyüp Kılınç stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Eyüp Kılınç's late challenge caught a KIRIKKALESPOR's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eyüp Kılınç helped the player get up and apologised. İnanç Tellioğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paul Caniggia in the 80th minute of play. If Tudor Orășan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 87 minutes into the game, Ogün Sarphan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. İnanç Tellioğlu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. CİMBOM FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 91st minute, when Fırat Şahinalp scored to the left of an out of position İnanç Tellioğlu, making the score, 0-8. Fırat Şahinalp received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. İnanç Tellioğlu came out and tried to block the shot, but Fırat Şahinalp slotted it home off the left post making it 0-9 in the 95th minute. KIRIKKALESPOR played a much better game than CİMBOM FC and deserved their victory. The CİMBOM FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
