Valdemar Lundqvist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 24 minutes into the game, AnadoluSporFK's Urbano Jago nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Valdemar Lundqvist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. 26 minutes into the game, Bize Her Yer Trabzon's Cengizhan Duha nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cengizhan Duhas short, quick shot in the 42ndth minute got İbrahim Ergenç to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 47 minutes of play, AnadoluSporFK's Arif Çelebi Tüzel made it 1-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Valdemar Lundqvist was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cengizhan Duha to strike the kick off in the second half. Valdemar Lundqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arif Çelebi Tüzel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 55th minute Cengizhan Duha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but İbrahim Ergenç saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 57th minute, Urbano Jago left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AnadoluSporFK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-7. AnadoluSporFK made a substitution. Zachariasz Ratulowski replaced Urbano Jago. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arif Çelebi Tüzel in the 63rd minute of play forced Bize Her Yer Trabzon's goalkeeper Valdemar Lundqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Bize Her Yer Trabzon defense, Zachariasz Ratulowski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Valdemar Lundqvist. The Bize Her Yer Trabzon fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Valdemar Lundqvist should have stopped the shot. Valdemar Lundqvist was out of position in the 92 minute of play, and Arif Çelebi Tüzel capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Arif Çelebi Tüzel really showed his touch with that goal: 1-12. In the 97th minute, Cengizhan Duha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. AnadoluSporFK's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
