AdanaDemirSpor's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tudor Orășan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. AdanaDemirSpor's Hami Rakim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fırat Şahinalp in the 12th minute of play. If Tudor Orășan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th minute, Paul Caniggia reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Hami Rakim. The goal made the score 2-1. In the 26th minute, KIRIKKALESPOR's Paul Caniggia ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hami Rakim. Hami Rakim yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gökçek Özozan in the 30th minute of play forced KIRIKKALESPOR's goalkeeper Raoul Boehnke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hami Rakim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saruhan Şenbay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hami Rakim stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Saruhan Şenbay's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. After a rather tough play, AdanaDemirSpor's Tevfik Peyami got a free kick in the 93rd minute. If Tudor Orășan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the KIRIKKALESPOR players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
