After having played for 10 minutes, Ferdinando Martini managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zeytinburnu Telsizgücü FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ferdinando Martini was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferdinando Martini in the 14th minute of play forced Real Trabzon Sk's goalkeeper Görkem Büyükada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Real Trabzon Sk's goal looked a bit too open when Ola Lund came free, but Görkem Büyükada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Demircan Sabir might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dida Silva. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Demircan Sabir ran back to his position shaking his head. 47 minutes into the match, Ferdinando Martini dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Görkem Büyükada, 4-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Dida Silva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eddie Murphy, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Válbson Botelho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zeytinburnu Telsizgücü FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Válbson Botelho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Görkem Büyükada breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee ended the match the Zeytinburnu Telsizgücü FK players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
