Bumin Çağman might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aurelian Panin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bumin Çağman ran back to his position shaking his head. 46 minutes into the game, Çağatay Kuyas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Cosme Aimar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Babbis Karterouliotis made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Çağatay Kuyas in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cosme Aimar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Çağatay Kuyas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
