Spectators: 7678 (Terracing: 5759, Seating: 1766, VIP seats: 153) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Wiktor Basinski kicked off to start the match. When the match clock showed 5 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Wiktor Basinski sped through Fenerbahçe's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Aktuğ Sezgin. In the 13th minute Erenay Mutluer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aktuğ Sezgin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Fenerbahçe's goal looked a bit too open when Wiktor Basinski came free, but Aktuğ Sezgin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nando Muslera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mehmet Bilge Yetkiner, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Nando Muslera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Çağlar Tengiroğlu in the 35th minute of the match. Ulaş Balaban recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ulaş Balaban blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aktuğ Sezgin having to make a save.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mehmet Bilge Yetkiner was the one to do the kick off. Aktuğ Sezgin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulaş Balaban in the 54th minute of the match. Aktuğ Sezgin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wiktor Basinski in the 55th minute of play. When VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL's Wiktor Basinski in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Nando Muslera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mehmet Bilge Yetkiner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Fenerbahçe getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Halit Hasanbeyli hit a great ball. After 79th play minutes Ulaş Balaban shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Aktuğ Sezgin and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 84th minute, Suelo Montana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wiktor Basinski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aktuğ Sezgin having to interfere. Aktuğ Sezgin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wiktor Basinski in the 89th minute of the match. If Wiktor Basinski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aktuğ Sezgin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ulaş Balaban's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. When Mehmet Bilge Yetkiner fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fenerbahçe's protests and gave Mehmet Bilge Yetkiner a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL booed when Fenerbahçe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mehmet Bilge Yetkiner didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fenerbahçe's Aktuğ Sezgin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulaş Balaban in the 96th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL fans cheered their team off the field, for while Fenerbahçe had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
